COMMUNITY
At Construct we are really proud to be part of a vibrant and healthy Waikato community and surrounding area. When your team lives, works and plays in an area, we believe you have a responsibility to do what you can, when you can to enhance and give back to that community. That is why over the years we have ensured that like so many other leading Waikato businesses we do our bit.
At times our community involvement is as simple as financially coming to the party, to actively and over many years support such genuinely worthy causes as;
Hospice Waikato
NZ Cancer Society
Waikids
St Johns Ambulance
Red Cross
Salvation Army
NZME – Annual Kids Christmas Party
Waikato Junior Rugby
St Pauls Swimming Club
At other times our support goes beyond the financial and involves us mucking in, boots and all to help get a job done, using our skills and expertise to the best advantage of a community initiative that is going to have a long lasting effect.
The stunning unveiling of Mesh Sculpture Trusts Michael Parekowhai sculpture – ‘Tongue of the Dog’ on Hamilton’s main street is a recent example of how we bring our commercial skills to bear to support a fantastic legacy piece for the wider community. Construct has been delighted to be involved with two other mesh projects.
